New York is full of amazing restaurants and has a thriving Latino culture. As you can imagine it was no easy task compiling a list of must-eat Latin restaurants. In order to narrow it down, some guidelines were established. Each restaurant was nominated by a panel of locals. Restaurants were then evaluated based on authenticity, quality of food, and accessibility to anyone regardless of budget. After much labor, it is a pleasure to present this fantastic list. A beber y a tragar, que el mundo se va a acabar!
Flor De Mayo
484 Amsterdam Avenue (Upper West Side)
(212) 787-3388
This somewhat divey favorite is one of the few remaining Chino-Latino restaurants in New York. The interesting brand of cuisine was birthed when Chinese that immigrated to countries like Peru and Cuba fled conditions in South America and came to New York. History aside, the restaurant's pollo la brasa, a Peruvian rotisserie chicken, could go head to head with any Latino offering in the city. The savory, flavor-packed bird won't set you back too far either. Be sure to try a glass of the red sangria.
El Parador Caf
325 East 34th St # 1 (Midtown East)
(212) 679-6812
Originally opened in 1959, this sleeper of a Mexican restaurant serves some of the best contemporary Mexican to be found in New York. Diners can enjoy a variety of exceptional dishes including a braised shredded flank steak, mole pablano, paella or for the less adventurous quesadillas and enchiladas while sipping on El Parador's strong but tasty margaritas.
Victor's Cafe
236 West 52nd St # 1 (Midtown)
(212) 586-7714
Another oldie but goodie, Victor's Cafe has been serving Cuban food to New Yorkers since 1963. This theatre district favorite maintains an upbeat environment with live salsa music without falling into the trap of most of the area's restaurants which sacrifice food quality for atmosphere. Delicious offerings include lechon asado, ropa vieja, roast suckling pig in sour orange, olive oil, garlic and herbs, and florida red snapper. If you're drinking, you can't go wrong with their mojito.
Pio Pio
Several locations, visit rel=nofollow http://www.piopio.com
(212) 665-3000
You may think it odd to include two restaurants which specialize in rotisserie chicken on one list. But Pio Pio presents their signature rotisserie birds in a unique and equally delicious way. Enthusiasts pack their several locations for crispy and moist chicken that's been marinated in a mixture of cumin, garlic, and Peruvaan beer that is served with an addictive spicy green sauce made from cilantro, lime and huacatay, an Andean mint. Don't forget to have a pisco cocktail.
Sofrito
400 East 57th Street (Midtown East)
(212) 754-5999
This Puerto Rican eatery could almost be mistaken for a nightclub. When you first walk in you'll likely notice the trendy backlit bar and the pulse of hip-hop music before you spot the tables. Don't misunderstand though, Sofrito serves up authentic dishes that make just as much of a statement. Large portions of mofongo al pilon, whole fried red snapper with coconut rice, empanadas, and Cazuela de marisco, a delicious seafood stew, keep diners content even if they think it's too loud. If you're still perturbed by the volume, their pina coladas make it difficult for anyone to not have a good time.

Like Greek Food?
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Alex_Pupkin]Alex Pupkin
The Mediterranean Sea is one of the most romanticized regions of the world, touching upon several different countries with widely different peoples, cultures, and cuisines. Greece is just one of the countries blessed by the bounties of the sea along with ancient ruins, majestic islands, and some of the best food in the world. Food and wine are among the most beloved aspects of Greek culture whether you are of Greek heritage or not. The influence of Greek cuisine can be witnessed the world over as you are bound to find an excellent Greek restaurant in just about every major city.
Some of the major ingredients of Greek food are equally ubiquitous: olive oil, lamb, potatoes, and seafood all feature prominently in Greek dishes. The fresh and bold flavours of Greek meals can be attributed to the variety of spices, meats, and vegetables you are likely to find. Though undoubtedly rooted in the indigenous plants and animals of Greece, the cuisine is also strongly rooted in health practices. For example, especially in ancient times, many Greek people believed that certain foods cured various illnesses. A popular soup made from chicken broth, lemon juice, eggs, and rice known as Avgolemono is thought to accelerate healing from colds or even to prevent illness. Yet for most of us, the attraction to Greek cuisine can simply be attributed to taste.
Popular desserts in Greece include Baklava and Loukoumades. Baklava is a Greek favourite that incorporates the popular Greek phyllo dough, nuts, cinnamon, and honey. Similarly, Loukoumades are basically Greek donuts made of deep fried dough that has been soaked in honey and cinnamon and often sprinkled with sesame seeds. However, when it comes to Greek food, the popularity of their desserts is easily surpassed by savoury dishes such as Moussaka, Souvlaki, or Dolmades.
Moussaka is somewhat like a Greek shepherd's pie. This casserole contains eggplant, potatoes, red wine, onions, and beef or lamb to create a hearty meal well suited for a dinner during the cooler fall and winter seasons. Souvlaki, possibly the most popular Greek dish, is essentially a skewer of chicken, lamb, or beef seasoned carefully with spices such as oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Dolmades, on the other hand, feature vegetables such as onion, zucchini, eggplant, or tomato with our without meat. Generally, these stuffed vegetable dishes may be filled with rice, onion, parsley, herbs, and spices as well as raisins, currants, nuts, or pulses.
Any attempt to describe the entirety of Greek cuisine would be far too exhaustive to be contained within a few paragraphs. Greek food is diverse and flavoursome and benefits from the passionate nature the Greek have about their food. Greek food combines hearty vegetables, delicate spices, and various meets to create a delicious cuisine that is often imitated but never replicated.

Ricky T's in Green Bay, Wisconsin - Bar Review
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Elysia_Diaz]Elysia Diaz
Thursday nights are softball nights for one of my best friends. He plays on an intramural league. And this past Thursday evening after a huge loss they went celebrating. Why would they go celebrating on a loss? Because they can. They go and party it up on every loss, win, and tie. What fantastic team spirit! And I had the pleasure of joining them on this wild ride of a loss. We all ventured over to Ricky T's. I thought Ricky T's was a super small bar. Wrong. I also thought Ricky T's was going to be an unclean dumpy bar. Wrong again. And lastly, I thought Ricky T's was going to be a one stop drink because we would all want to bar hop somewhere else. WRONG. Clearly I need to adjust my bar radar.
Ricky T's is located in Allouez, just a little hop, skip and a jump from Encore Food & Spirits. From the front side, which would be Riverside Drive, you might pass up this little diamond in the rough. The parking is located in the back and you get to it from pulling into the driveway that's right next to Encore leading to the water. From the backside you see the crowd of people enjoying the patio. On the patio you can drink, smoke and relax in the summertime air. The fiesta tonight was inside at the bar. As I made my way in I was greeted with a blast of cold air, loud music and loads and loads of people. The softball team was already sitting at the bar cheers-ing this and that.
Ricky T's is kind of shaped like a house. You first walk into the front entry way, then to the right is the bar area with plenty of seats at the bar and a few small tables close by. To the left are the pool table and the restrooms and then through an open doorway is another room with more tables and dart boards. That room leads to the outdoor patio. It just reminded me of a house that was totally turned into a fun bar. My house looks like a regular house; booooring. This particular establishment was pretty clean and had that nice breathe able smoke free air.
The bartender was behind the bar flipping liquor bottles like Tom Cruise in 'Cocktail' and minus a few wild sprays to people who were seated in the splash zone he was really good. I later found out that the man putting on a show was also the owner. He was full of smiles and poured a strong drink. My BF and I ordered drinks; a vodka soda for me and a gin and tonic for him. As I said earlier, my plan was to have one and bar hop but we were all having too good a time to collect ourselves and leave. After a few rounds we had to call it quits. Not because we wanted to but because it was bar closing time. The bill for my friend and me was $28. We had 3 drinks apiece and he also ate a BLT. BLT's are usually around 5 bucks so that makes the drinks (tall strong drinks) around 3 and change. Awesome.
The whole night was really fun. The atmosphere is lively, the music is loud but not that annoying loud where you can't hear anything, the drinks are stiff, the bartender/owner is pretty rad and the whole night won't break your wallet.

Fajita Republic Restaurant Review in Green Bay, WI
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Patricia_Summerfield]Patricia Summerfield
For dinner I went to the newly opened Mexican restaurant, Fajita Republic, which is located in Bellevue on the far East side of Green Bay. As I walked in I was happily greeted by the hostess and brought to a booth on the dining room side. But if you choose, you may also eat in the bar lounge area which is on the left side of the restaurant. Fajita Republic is immaculate looking and has a cozy warm atmosphere with its Mexican themed murals painted on the walls done in colors of warm reds, oranges, browns and greens. Mini white lights are strung in the middle of the room completing the look. There are many large comfortable booths and some larger tables with very good lighting above each table.
I was brought out very quickly a complimentary basket of tortilla chips and a saucer of fresh salsa. Soon after my waiter introduced himself and asked if I would like a cocktail or beverage to start with. After perusing my menu I decided to start out with a house favorite appetizer, the lime drizzled shrimp for $9.99 and for my main entre I chose one from their fine cuisine section, MOLCAJETE for $14.99. As I waited for my entre I snacked on the chips and salsa. The salsa was freshly prepared with pieces of cilantro, onions and tomato. It had a good flavor with just a little heat.
Next came my lime drizzled shrimp appetizer. It consisted of a dozen medium to large shrimp neatly arranged on a large white dish with scattered sliced green onion and cilantro. In the middle of the dish was a small cup of sauce. The shrimp were sauted in Spanish olive oil with a hint of garlic and red pepper, finished with a splash of fino sherry, fresh lime, cilantro and green onion. The shrimp were amazingly delicious, all the ingredients blending together and with just the right touch of lime juice made for a splendid appetizer. My server was also very charming and fun. He was very eager to please; he would call me my friend and senorita and asked me many times throughout the meal if everything was okay. I watched him rush around hoping to please everyone he was waiting on. He made my meal enjoyable. Next came my entre, the Molacajeta. It was served in a black Mexican motar, shaped into a bull, and was chock full of large shrimp, steak strips, grilled chicken, chorizo, pork, queso fresco, grilled tender cactus, bell peppers, and onions with a side of rice, refried beans and corn or flour tortillas. All the ingredients were just an explosion of flavor, all the meats were extremely tender with a rich intensity and the vegetables were sauted nicely with thick chunks of mozzarella cheese that were placed on top that were starting to slightly melt. It tasted fabulous. Next time I go to dine at Fajita Republic I will have to try one of their jumbo Margaritas, they looked refreshing.

Naples Florida Restaurants: The Top 5
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Catherine_MacMillan]Catherine MacMillan
There are many great restaurants and broad range of cuisines and price ranges offered in Naples, Florida. The top five restaurants are the Bamboo Cafe, Brio Tuscan, Chops City Grill, Naples Tomato and Truluck's. Below are the reasons we feel these restaurants are the tops.
Bamboo Cafe
If you are looking for warmth and charm with a mixture of chic and old world style in an eatery, then Bamboo Cafe is so for you. The subdued relaxing atmosphere is alit with candles as the piano music plays softly in the background. The friendly service will assist in the choices of appetizers, delicious seasoned seafood dishes and delectable desserts.
Brio Tuscan
Located at the Waterside Shops on Tamiami Trail the Brio Tuscan Grille may seem like a regular mall dining spot on the outside, but on the inside you are in for a very pleasant surprise. Their menu will keep you choosing from the large number of appetizers and entrees, because it all looks so good. Their platters will more than satisfy, so be sure to show up good and hungry. Whether you choose the Roasted Garlic, Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Parmesan Flatbread or the Shrimp Risotto you will be more than satisfied. They offer a menu with an Italian seafood flair. You may even try a dish and declare it to be the best you ever had, as many others will attest to. Enjoy their brunch on weekend mornings. Happy hour at The Bar, either on the indoor or outdoor patio, will have you enjoying cocktails and food deals that are very affordable.
Chops City Grill
You can enjoy a fantastic meal at the spacious and elegant Chops City Grill. While you receive wonderful service, you can enjoy appetizers, entrees and dessert along with a nice glass of wine. This is the place where family and friends can meet and linger, because it's relaxing and fun. They offer nice discounts on "early dining specials" so if you are budget-minded, arrive early and enjoy the friendly atmosphere that will have you coming back time and time, again.
Naples Tomato
Without a doubt, the Naples Tomato is one of the best restaurants in Naples. If you are a wine connoisseur you will enjoy having your own personal wine sommelier that will help you to choose from a large selection of the best wines. There is even a wine tasting bar where you can select from several self-serve wine dispensers, if you wish to try different tastes. All you have to do is purchase a wine card and have fun selecting and tasting your favorite wines. You can choose how much you'd like to spend, and start sipping. If Mediterranean style food is your favorite, then you are in for a treat.
Truluck's
The upscale exceptional Truluck's is located in downtown Naples. Even though this is part of a small restaurant chain, you wouldn't know it. Truluck's has locations in Florida, California and Texas. Start the meal by choosing a glass of wine from their extensive wine list. They have a private fishing fleet in the Gulf of Mexico where they catch their own fresh seafood to offer on the menu. They offer seafood that is current with the seasons. And the desserts are out of this world delicious.

Beware the Coupon Monster!
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Robert_M_Adams]Robert M Adams
Those discount coupon deals might not be all they're cracked up to be...
The world of online coupons is exploding - whether free coupons, printable coupons or any discount coupon for that matter. And that's great news for consumers...maybe. "What do you mean 'maybe' - you say. "Aren't I getting a deal when I buy one of the online printable coupons?" Maybe yes and maybe no.
Let's be real clear. Coupons are a great way to save. You can go online and print restaurant coupons, discount coupons for products and services - all with the hope that you'll save. And that's a good goal to have. But in this writer's opinion, "All that glitters is not gold."
I'd like to talk about the monster that seems to be dominating today's online coupon world offering discounts and deals - Groupon. It is reported to be the fastest growing company in the history of the US. Not just for discount coupons - for any company! Every day they send out enticing emails offering coupons for "big discounts" on a full range of products and services.
What could be wrong with that, you say?
Well to be fair, there is a lot that is right with Groupon and they are impressive. They are truly a monster in the online coupon marketing sense but as with all monsters, they can run you over if you get too close. How so, you ask?
To answer that let's look at Groupon's target. It's you, the consumer. "Well, duh" you say. But please realize that when a company that big focuses its considerable resources on individual shoppers, you might be at a disadvantage. Make no mistake, they want your money, your credit card and they'll use every trick in the book to get it. And to be fair (again) it's not all bad, you really can get some deals.
But it might help you if you knew a little about their strategy and tactics so you could avoid some of the pitfalls - at least level the playing field. Consider:
The first thing to know is that not all discounts are what they're cracked up to be. The individual businesses are asked to give up a 50% discount as a minimum in order to entice you to try them. Do you think it's possible that some businesses would raise their price for that service first before discounting it? hmmm...
Next it would help to see the tactic they use to get you to take out your credit card. In the old world of sales fundamentals it's called "The fear of loss takeaway." It's when an ad says, "Hurry, buy now before they're all gone." Or, "Supply is limited so get it while you can." Or, "buy yours now before someone else gets it." And so it goes. It's important to know they (artfully) use those tactics to manipulate you, to get you to take action and buy.
And finally, you often can get the same or better discounts, deals and online coupons absolutely free if you simply dig a little bit without giving in to the impulse to buy "right now."

There are rel=nofollow [http://www.couponvillageusa.com/]alternatives to the big monster. Check around before you pull that credit card trigger. You'll be glad you did!

New York Food Trucks For Happy Eating
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Mark_Etinger]Mark Etinger
Food trucks have become a staple of New York. You can't walk more than two blocks without seeing someone offering food in a little white container. Dutch settlers first introduced pushcart food in 1691. The food might not have been as tasty back then, but it was an easy way to grab a quick bite during your lunch break.
The food has changed, but the concept remains the same. New Yorkers are busy people and no one has time to sit down in a restaurant and eat lunch. New York food trucks have, and always will, cater to the lunch crowd. Instead of settling for a hotdog or chicken and rice, you can enjoy gourmet meals -everything from waffles to dumplings to tacos. And, it is all high quality food; hence the long lines wrapped around the block. There are plenty of great trucks to try, but let us discuss some trucks you cannot pass up.
Everyone knows breakfast can be eaten any time of day. If you understand how amazing waffles are, check out Waffles & Dinges. Get it? The "dinges," include dulce de leche, Belgian chocolate fudge, walnuts, bananas, whipped cream, etc. And, do not forget the scoop of vanilla ice cream! What kind of waffle would it be? Besides the traditional sweet waffles, there is a savory waffle, but it is only for the adventurous. It has pulled BBQ pork and coleslaw slathered on top. Try it before you judge!
Prefer BBQ without the waffle? Then head over to Korilla BBQ, a food truck serving "classic Korean recipes in contemporary forms." Choose a filling, such as chicken thighs, pulled pork, rib-eye, or tofu and then stick it in a burrito, tacos, or chosun bowl. Then of course you can add on some kimchi, salsa, cheese, hot sauce, and other fixings.
Not in the mood for spicy kimchi? Perhaps a traditional Greek food truck would better fill your tummy. Souvlaki GR food truck is so incredibly delicious that they now have a restaurant on the Lower East Side. Besides the customary pita souvlaki, you can also dine on a Greek burger, fries, salads, and choco-freta - a Greek chocolate wafer bar. Sometimes the simple food is simply the best!
The choices don't stop there, there is Bistro Truck serving Mediterranean cuisine, Big D's Grub Truck dishing out tacos and grinder sandwiches, Richshaw Dumpling Truck steaming dumplings (what else?), and so many more. NYC food trucks have become quite the phenomenon. When your stomach is grumbling, stop by one of these amazing trucks for some grub.
Sidewalks of NY offers some of the best [http://www.sidewalksofny.com]New York food tours in the city. They'll take you to the hottest spots and places you might not have otherwise known about. Exploring Medora: Boots Bar and Grill
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Terrye_Toombs]Terrye Toombs
In the charming Old Western town of Medora, resides a must stop called Boots Bar and Grill. It is one of my favorite places to stop whenever I'm anywhere near Medora. Boots is located at 300 Pacific Ave, Medora, ND.
A little background: Boots Bar and Grill was once known as The Iron Horse. Currently owned by Brad Skachenko and Morey Bang, the bar has undergone remodeling, a new and improved bar with pool tables, dart boards, blackjack, slot machines, and live music. Boots also offers a non-smoking dining area for families as well as seasonal outdoor dining. High chairs are available.
The Menu: Boots offers a nice selection of appetizers ranging from Fried Mushrooms to Mozzarella Sticks. The Gizzards are fried golden brown, tender and wonderful. The Southwest Eggrolls with spicy ranch dressing are my son's favorite. I tried the Artichoke & Spinach Dip and was a little disappointed. The dip was warm and creamy like it should be, but tasted a little flat and sour. The tortilla chips were stale and rubbery.
The menu features a wide variety of sandwiches and burgers (try the Elk burger - you won't be disappointed). In addition to burgers, they also offer meal sized salads (including Chicken and Steak), Fleischkuechle (ground beef, pork, onions, and peppers encased in bread dough), and baskets (chicken strips, steak fingers, and beer battered walleye). A limited selection of steaks is also listed. Some of the sides available are: sweet potato fries, cottage cheese, soup of the day, and fresh cold salads featuring local produce.
My favorite entre is the Steak Finger basket. The steak is always tender and golden with just the right amount of salt. The cold salad sides changes often and are highly recommended. The cucumber salads are very addictive. The Elk Burger is cooked to order and is lean and very flavorful; not gamey at all. My husband rarely orders anything else. When he did try something different, he chose the French dip and was disappointed. It's described as shredded roast beef on a hoagie bun. The roast beef was plain and dry, and mildly flavorful. The au jus tasted like it came from a can.
Boots also has a pizza menu. We ordered the all meat and were pleased with pie. It features a healthy helping of pepperoni, sausage, and ham. The sauce had a good flavor and complemented the meats. The large will easily feed a family of four.
The Service: During the busy summer tourist season, service can be a little slow due to the steady stream of travelers passing through and looking for a great meal. In the off-season, service is much faster; usually only locals, construction crews and workers from the nearby oil drilling companies frequenting Boots. No matter what the season, the wait staff is always friendly and helpful. They are knowledgeable of the menu and the specials of the day. Their recommendations are right on and they are always happy to help with a menu selection.
The Hours: Restaurant: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m.; Bar: 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 a.m. Mon.-Sat.; Bar open at noon on Sun.
Overall: Boots Bar and Grill is a great family dining experience and is a nice spot to fuel up while exploring Medora or the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The western dcor enhances the feel of an old west town and during the summer season, it's not uncommon for some of the colorful characters that inhabit the town to stop in dressed in 1800s attire.

Three Reasons To Visit The Gumbo Shop
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Jonathan_Hostetler]Jonathan Hostetler
There are actually two gumbo shops in the USA, one in Louisiana and the other in Missouri. Both serve good creole food.
Let's start with the Gumbo Shop in New Orleans, Louisiana. The first reason you need to check this place out is that it is close to many other creole-style restaurants. So, if you plan on spending a few days in New Orleans, this restaurant can be one of the places you eat at, in your effort to experience authentic "Louisiana food." Their address and phone number is:
630 St Peter St,
New Orleans, LA 70130
Ph: 504-525-1486
The second reason to eat there is that they not only serve delicious food, but they do so in an attractive environment. Aside from the seating options available indoors, the New Orleans Gumbo Shop also offers outdoor seating. So on a clear, sunny day, you can enjoy the beauties of the outdoors as you chow down on some cajun food.
Finally, the third reason is that they offer options for vegetarians. The vegetarian dish of the day is only $9.99, and there are plenty of side orders, salads, and deserts that are safe for vegetarians, as well.
The other Gumbo Shop is located in St. Louis, Missouri. Although both restaurants claim the same name, they are not associated with each other. The only similarity they have is that they both offer Louisiana-style creole food.
There are three reasons you should check out this restaurant if you find yourself in St. Louis. But first, here is their address and phone number:
9501 Manchester Road
Rock Hill, MO 63119
Ph: (314) 918-8747
The first reason you should visit this restaurant is that it is reasonably small. If you prefer dining in a more relaxed atmosphere, this is the place to be. It seats approximately 30 to 40 people, so you're not alone, but you're not crowded either.
The second reason to check out this place is that it's one of the few places outside of New Orleans that cooks up some authentic Louisiana-style food. Not many places have the experience and history that these guys have.
Finally, the Gumbo Shop in St. Louis offers catering. So if you have a big company event or family reunion coming up, this may be a perfect option for you. Also, the restaurant's hours are fairly limited, so if you happen to want to eat their food when you know they won't be open, just order a bunch of food ahead of time and invite the neighbors over for some good food!
Whichever place you find yourself - New Orleans, or St Louis - try out one of these Gumbo Shops to experience authentic creole food.

Five Ideas To Save Money When Eating Out
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Sarg_Carter]Sarg Carter
I eat out a lot and it can get quite costly. It's not that I have an aversion to eating at home, I know how to cook and sometimes enjoy it! But, being a single guy, it's not important for me to rush home from work and make a healthy dinner. It's easier just to stop at a restaurant along the way for dinner. My friends all ask how can I afford this luxury? It's not hard when you do it my way!
The economy stinks and of all industries I think that the restaurant business has suffered the most. Every week I hear of another restaurant that has closed after years of doing great business. What causes this, you ask? They just aren't getting the flow of customers they need to generate enough sales to cover the overhead. People aren't coming in so they are looking for inventive ways to get your business.
Everyone is looking for ways to cut down on their expenses and eating out seems to be one of the ways people are cutting their spending first. Or instead of going to the "more expensive" places they are frequenting the fast food joints and getting the double ripoff! They are saving a few bucks and trading off for a lot of useless calories and usually substandard food.
Not me! I go to some of the nicest restaurants, get served like a king, and walk out fully satisfied that I have had a good, healthy, filling meal for about what you spend at a fast food joint. Let me explain...
Idea Number One: Never go to a restaurant without a coupon. There are coupons everywhere. Buy one get the second free is a common coupon these days. You can find them all over. Small local free newspapers that you find, ironically, near the front door of some restaurants usually have several coupons for restaurants in the same neighborhood. Look them over and clip the ones you find appealing. Make a mental note of any special times, days, or limitations on the coupons.
Idea Number Two: Learn how to enjoy water. One of the biggest profit makers at a restaurant are the drinks. Forget about alcoholic drinks altogether. If your coupon requires that you purchase a drink with your dinner get the cheapest drink. Otherwise opt for a delicious, thirst-quenching, glass of ice water. If you just can't stand water ask for a slice of lemon, squeeze in a few drops and add a small amount of sugar or sweetener. I started doing this a few years ago and found that now I enjoy drinking water with all my meals.
Idea Number Three: Skip the dessert. Another restaurant moneymaker is the dessert. I have never seen a coupon that specified that dessert must be purchased. When your server comes by and asks about coffee and dessert it's up to you to resist the urge and say "no, thank you." For what you pay here for dessert you could go to the supermarket and buy enough for two weeks.
Idea Number Four: Sharing. Sharing is not a four letter word. Most restaurants give you so much food you could share with your partner and both of you will still be full. Unless your coupon specifies otherwise always think about sharing with your partner.
Idea Number Five: Take home the leftovers. Like I said above restaurants usually give you way more than a normal serving and sharing is an alternative. But don't be shy. Ask your server to pack up the leftovers for another meal the next day. In fact you can share one meal and take the entire second meal home! What a great way to save!
Now you are armed with Five Ideas to save money when eating out. I use them all. Today we ate dinner at an Italian restaurant that we go to almost weekly. We ordered Chicken Cacciatore and Penne with Chicken. Each dinner came with soup or salad and all the garlic rolls we wanted. The Chicken dish was $17.95. The other was FREE (no coupon necessary before 6pm). The whole meal cost $17.95 plus $6 tip, total $24 with enough leftover food for another dinner for one. Three meals for $24 comes out to $8 per meal.
Follow these ideas and you will be saving so much money you will just have to gloat about it to your friends like I do! Send me a note and tell me how you save money by eating out.

Restaurant Review: Kelly's McDonald's of Dickinson, North Dakota - A Parody
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Terrye_Toombs]Terrye Toombs
Finding ourselves in Dickinson, North Dakota at dinner time and without reservations, we pulled into the local McDonald's hoping for a passable meal. After a short wait behind a white caravan filled with half of a local high school sports team, and a green Pontiac firebird with two 20 some-things out on a date, we were greeted by the friendly voice emanating from the display & speaker. We explained that we didn't have reservations and as it was a Friday evening, we asked if they would be able to accommodate us. The disembodied voice assured us that it would not be a problem.
A little background:
Kelly's McDonalds is located at 212 Museum Drive, Dickinson ND 58601. A great spot for a quick bite after visiting the Dakota Dinosaur Museum located 0.01 miles to the east. In addition to a quick and accurate drive thru window, the establishment offers indoor, smoke-free dining, and a seasonal covered outdoor dining area behind the restaurant.
The Menu:
Kelly's McDonald's offers a nice selection of American fare; including a variety of hamburgers and cheeseburgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips & nuggets, wraps, salads, French fries, colas, shakes, and coffees. Prices tend to be slightly higher given that the area is in the midst of an oil boom and many of the oil companies and drilling support service companies are housing their workers in the surrounding over-priced hotels and motels.
My husband selected the double quarter pounder with cheese, small fries and an iced tea. Our almost 5 year old preferred the ten piece chicken nuggets with ranch dressing and an ice water. I opted for the grilled chicken bacon ranch salad with an iced tea to complement.
Our food arrived quickly and as ordered. The professionally prepared burger and tender nuggets were each served in an attractive thick cardboard container with eye-catching graphics proclaiming the contents of the package. The fries were embraced in a paper sleeve that provided easy access to the delectable and mildly salted potato munchies. My grilled chicken bacon ranch salad was pleasingly enshrined in a plastic bowl, although slightly difficult to open after stealing a French fry (ok, more like 5). The properly chilled sweet teas were poured into Styrofoam steins with precisely the correct amount of ice.
The Service:
The drive-up window person accepting our payment was a humorless, no nonsense, strictly business type and was highly efficient and accurate. She has a great future as an accountant, or perhaps a prison guard.
The drive up window person delivering our food was friendly and helpful, asking if we would need croutons, ketchup or extra napkins. We figured he was going to be an outstanding logistics manager once he got past the awkward, pimple-faced era of his life and graduated from high school.
The Hours:
Restaurant: Sun thru Thurs 5am - 11pm. Fri and Sat 5am - 12am. Drive Thru: Same as the restaurant.
Overall:
The neon dcor is typical fast food but not overly offensive or distracting. It lacks musical accompaniment once the car stereo has been muted for ordering. Typical patrons are hordes of local college students hanging out after class, high school sports teams grabbing a quick snack before the long, arduous journey back to the obscure town they hail from, and famished oil field workers. All in all, Kelly's McDonald's offers a quick and filling meal for a family on the go. http://ttoombs08.hubpages.com/ http://www.examiner.com/landmarks-10-in-fargo/theresa-toombs

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Francis_Bentos]Francis Bentos
We've all been there - out in the middle of the city, and hunger strikes. Problem is, you're running a little low on funds today. Maybe you stayed for one more round in the pub than you should have last night, or Christmas is coming and you need every penny to treat that special someone. Whatever the reason, you know that you just can bring yourself to walk down Fast Food Boulevard again. The thought of another burger or kebab is just too much. If you happen to be in Birmingham, however, you're in luck. The city boasts some outstanding dining deals for those on a budget, with the option of AA Rosette-awarded restaurants not out of reach. Below are a pick of some of the best budget restaurants in Birmingham.
Opus
A restaurant that is the proud recipient of 2 prestigious AA Rosettes may seem like an odd choice to start a list of budget Birmingham restaurants. However, Opus manages to present premium British cooking without pretention, and without the astronomical price tag that one might expect from a high-end eatery. Showered with critical acclaim, Opus Birmingham prepares a selection of innovative recipes that are dependent on only the freshest ingredients. Unlike many other restaurants (an certainly the fast food you may have been considering in order to save money), Opus staff go to local markets to buy fresh seafood and other ingredients every day. Free-range poultry and meat is also delivered daily. Diners can sample gourmet dishes for reasonable prices, such as Carlingford rock oysters, and pan-fried quail salad with quail's eggs. The Opus setting is one of contemporary elegance, with large windows looking down onto the street below, flooding the interior with natural light.
Asha's Restaurant and Bar
After something a little more exotic? Owned by Bollywood singer Asha Bohsle, Asha's Restaurant and Bar is an essential Birmingham destination for vibrant Indian cuisine. Winning praise from the Michelin Guide, this seductively lit eatery is simmering with Bollywood glamour. Traditional North Western Indian cuisine is showcased in all its vibrant glory, with bold specialities including panchpharon whole lobster marinated in 5 spices. The warm dcor of orange and dark stained wood makes Asha's an ideal setting for groups and celebrations.
The Warehouse Caf
Cheap eats usually translates into 'horrendously unhealthy eats' for many, no matter how hard we try and avoid it. Housed inside the Birmingham Friends of the Earth HQ, at The Warehouse Caf in Birmingham, diners can enjoy the healthier things in life without having to pay the earth for the privilege! This trendy vegetarian restaurant serves a selection of cheap, light meals, which include a popular falafel. There are plenty of light bites which are perfect for sharing, like the irresistible pita breads, and the cumin-dressed carrots.

Gordy's Hi-Hat Restaurant in Cloquet, MN
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Clayton_Kohlhaas]Clayton Kohlhaas
Gordy's Hi-Hat Restaurant in Cloquet, MN is famous for its delicious burgers, served in a space reminiscent of the 50's. Folks come from miles away to enjoy their homemade burgers along with some of the best fries and onion rings available anywhere. These are not premade burgers. The are cooked after you order it, and comes off the grill hot, juicy, and piled high with whatever you'd like to top it off with. If burgers aren't your think, they also feature delicious fish sandwiches and chicken sandwiches that are every bit as good as the burgers. And for dessert, the shakes and malts are homemade from real ice cream.
Gordy's looks like an old '50's drive-in, except that there are no drive-in lanes. All ordering is done inside, and although the space is large, it's often difficult to find an open table. When the weather is nice, there are tables set up on the deck outside the building, and eating your meal in the fresh air of the outdoors is nearly impossible to beat! There is often a line out the door of folks waiting to order, and once you have ordered it pays to start watching for a table to open up. Grab it as soon as you can. You can sit and wait for your order to be ready, and then have a place to sit while you eat.
Gordy's is located on Hwy 33, about 2 miles north of Interstate 35. It's a fairly quick 1/2 hour drive from Duluth, MN, or less than 2 hours from the Minneapolis - St. Paul area. It's definitely worth the drive from either location.
Gordy's is closed during the winter months, and generally opens for the summer sometime in April or May, and closes down for the winter in September. If you come during the off-season, Gordy's Warming House, located right next door, is open year round. The Warming House offers terrific coffee and hot chocolate on a cold winter day, as well as sandwiches, ice cream, and other similar items.
But you don't have to take my word for it. Gordy's was recently featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, where the host seemed to love Gordy's! He knows that it's very hard to beat a hot, juicy, fresh, delicious burger, with all your favorite toppings, a side of onion rings, and a large shake for dessert. I recommend that you make a point of stopping at Gordy's Hi-Hat in Cloquet, MN. You won't be disappointed!

Silks Bistro and Champagne Bar, Newquay Restaurants
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Michael_Benjamin_Thomas]Michael Benjamin Thomas
Jamie Oliver may own the most well known restaurant in Newquay, but how does his Newquay restaurant compare to the more extravagant cafes and bistros in Newquay?
It seems as if Newquay has become the benchmark for quality dining in Cornwall. There are a number of Newquay restaurants and cafes that present house specialties among an exciting menu bursting with origionality. Silks Bistro and Champagne Bar, located in the Atlantic Hotel Newquay, is the latest Newquay restaurant to tickle the taste buds.
Although there are a lot of quality restaurants in Newquay, none can match the diversity of Silks Bistro and Champagne Bar. Using local produce, delicious fish Dishes are always the house favourite. Specialising in everything from Cataplanas, Seafood Platters and Fruits De Der, head chef Arron James has really put Silks on the map. There is much more to the menu than terrific fish dishes, a variety of meat courses, a tapas menu, a quality selection of sandwiches and, of course, a fine choice of Champagne are all available at very affordable prices.
Situated in the Atlantic Hotel, Silks Bistro and Champagne Bar is very much a separate enterprise. Already incorporating a guest dining area, along with So Sushi, Newquay's only Sushi Bar, the Atlantic Hotel is starting to garner a lot of attention from food and drink lovers. Unlike other hotels in Newquay, the Atlantic has really put together impressive and unique dining options.
Having eaten at a number of restaurants in Newquay, none left a lasting impression quite like Silks. I have made a point of checking future events and am already trying to talk my friends and family into booking a table for a New Years Eve. The Christmas and New year menu looks so good and affordable, you can eat like a king for less than 30. You won't find another Christmas dinner in Newquay at such a small price.
There is also the option to book Silks for weddings and functions. With breathtaking sea views, a friendly and warm atmosphere, and some of the best food and drink in Newquay, there is simply nowhere else in Cornwall that I could think to spend my special day!
I am sure there will be more top quality Newquay restaurants in the future, but at the moment the pick of the crop is Silks Bistro and Champagne Bar and it will be for a long, long time.

The Top Five Restaurants in Belgravia - London's Foodie Paradise
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Ben_J_White]Ben J White
Belgravia and its famous cousin Mayfair are home to some of the glitziest, the most glamorous and - most importantly - the best quality restaurants in the whole of London. Belgravia alone boasts nine Michelin stars - an incredible feat for a relatively small corner of London. So whether you're there for the food or the star-spotting opportunities, restaurants in Belgravia should be at the top of your list of glamorous London destinations.
There are enough restaurants in Belgravia to keep even the most ardent foodie occupied for days, but to get you started I've compiled a list of my top five restaurants in Belgravia - there's everything from cutting-edge oriental eateries to traditional British bistros, so take your pick and start experiencing some of the best dining experiences that London has to offer.
Roussillon This excellent restaurant, specialising in French cuisine, describes itself as "possibly the area's best kept secret". This is no empty boast, as the restaurant has garnered glowing reviews from a multitude of respected foodie publications. Nestled discreetly on St Barnabus Street, off Pimlico Road, it offers a welcomingly quiet getaway from the vibrant bustle of Belgravia. Roussillon also holds the distinction of being one of the restaurants in Belgravia to possess a Michelin star.
La Poule au Pot Just round the corner from Roussillon is La Poule au Pot, which Harden's guide has named "best for romance" in London on numerous occasions. From the moment you enter, flanked by potted plants and shrubbery, it's clear that La Poule au Pot is very much a timeless recreation of France-gone-by. Generous portions, honest and fine cuisine, and a delightfully cluttered interior complete the romantic atmosphere. Make this your first destination if you're embarking on your tour of restaurants in Belgravia with a special someone.
Hunan A short stroll down Pimlico Road takes us to Hunan, which offers spicy oriental cooking for the most adventurous connoisseur. Leave your preconceptions at the door, because Hunan is so cutting edge it doesn't even offer a menu. Give the waiter a few pointers - how spicy you like your food, what ingredients you can't or won't eat - and the kitchen staff will create course after course of tapas-style serving plates tailored to your tastes.
Since being founded in 1982, Hunan has risen to the position where it can reasonably be considered the best of the Chinese restaurants in Belgravia, if not the world.
Boisdale Closer to home, Boisdale cooks up hearty food made from only the finest Scottish produce. From its bright red exterior to the blues, jazz and soul music that can be heard emanating from within, it's clear that Boisdale stands out from other restaurants in Belgravia. Boisdale isn't for you if you want to eat your food without distraction, because its vivacious atmosphere, nightly live music and busy events calendar make it the perfect restaurant for those who believe dining should be social and enjoyable.
The Orange A recent addition to the family of rel=nofollow [http://www.grosvenorlondon.com/Locations/Belgravia/Pages/Restaurants.aspx]restaurants in Belgravia, The Orange makes its home in the former Orange Brewery. Affectionately restored to rustic perfection, The Orange serves up comforting food that is nonetheless at the top of its class. Incorporating a hotel, the Orange makes for the perfect base to bed down, eat one of the best breakfasts in London and head out for the day to explore the foodie paradise served up by restaurants in Belgravia.

Most Underrated Bars at ISU
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Nick_C_Fincham]Nick C Fincham
Being college students we all get stressed out from homework, papers, projects, and exams so when the weekends finally get here its time to party! I've been going to ISU's bars since the day I turned 21 and I have just about checked out every single one of them. Even though I have a handful of bars that I usually attend on the weekends sometimes I get a feeling like the weekends are all blending together and I need a change. With gas prices being expensive most college kids can't afford to travel around to different universities to get a change of pace. My experience in the bars have made me discover there are a lot of ways to change up your weekends and keep it cheap so your bank account doesn't take a hit. What I do if I notice the excitement in my weekends starting to disappear is go to a random bar that I have never been to before or one that I have only stopped in a couple times. In doing this I have found a few bars that aren't necessarily as popular as the Pub II and Daddio's, but they still have a lot to offer. I have classified these bars as some of the most underrated bars at Illinois State University and they include Mulligans and Brewe-Ha's. I will give you factors on what makes these bars so great based on my own personal experience and how these bars can add unexpected excitement to your ISU nightlife.
My vote for the most underrated bar at ISU goes to Mulligans in downtown Bloomington. This bar has hands down the best drink in the entire Bloomington Normal serving a strong Long Island Ice Tea in a huge mason jar for about 6 bucks. I would recommend sticking to just one of these because they put 7 different types of alcohol in it and if you aren't careful you could very easily not remember the rest of your night. Mulligan's also has a back patio to enjoy the weather when it is nice out also a convenient place to grab a smoke. Many students start their nights off at Mulligans with a Long Island Ice Tea to get their night going but because it is a small hole in the wall bar it often times gets looked over by ISU partygoers. Mulligans is a nice change of atmosphere that makes you feel like you are in a small town bar while still providing great music and live bands from time to time to keep the party going all night long. This gets my vote for most underrated bar at ISU because it offers everything from great drinks to a great atmosphere for how small the bar is. I would simply say don't judge a bar from its outside. Mulligans just might be that added flavor to your weekend you were looking for.
I put Brewe-Ha's in my top three most underrated bars at ISU because it often gets overlooked because the Pub II is right across the street from it. The Pub is one of the best bars at ISU so most students would find it absurd to go to Brewe-Ha's right across the street. Brewe-Ha's doesn't look like much of a bar because it is significantly smaller than the Pub and it doesn't have a beer garden but that doesn't mean you can't have a good time. This bar gives you a very homey feel that never really gets to crowded and has great drink specials every night of the week. They have games like darts and video games and if its not too busy I have been there when serious games of flip cup have started. If you aren't in the mood to deal with a crowd and just want to get together with your friends and grab a drink this is a bar that would suit your needs perfectly. One of the things this bar has that no other bar has in Bloomington Normal has is a pet. Yes I said pet. The owner of the bar lets his golden retriever wander around the bar and mingle with the students. It is one of the friendliest dogs and will go up to the bar, give a little bark and sure enough the bartender will toss a treat right into the dogs mouth. The dog isn't the only one that can get food though. With great bar food I would recommend grabbing an order of the best cheese balls in town. So if you ever get into one of those chill drinking moods like I do sometimes Brewe-Ha's is a great bar to grab a couple cheap drinks and good food with your friends while getting a nightlife experience you cant get anywhere else at ISU. Sure its more relaxing and laid back but I ranked this one of ISU most underrated bars because it gets overshadowed by the Pub and is a truly comfortable place to grab a drink or three.
I decided to pick one bar from downtown Bloomington (Mulligan's) and one from Uptown Normal (Brewe-Ha's) so I was able to give you an underrated bar to check out depending on what side of town you were on. The reason I picked these two bars as the most underrated at ISU was because when my friends and I decided to go to these bars I wasn't very thrilled at first because I hadn't really heard much about them or experienced them yet for that matter. What makes these places underrated was the little publicity these bars get compared to the surprisingly fun time you can have. If you have never been to these bars before and are stuck doing the same thing every weekend, I would highly suggest making a spontaneous trip to either of these establishments with your friends. After spending some time in these two bars I ended up falling in love and continue to go back to this day because sometimes the most fun can come from the place you least expect it.

How To Choose A Bar Supplies Company
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Samuel_W_Stone]Samuel W Stone
There are a lot of things to be considered when deciding whether or not to open a bar. One of the most important things to think about is bar supplies. Take time to think about what equipment you need to successfully run one and who will supply those materials. It is the supplies on which the success or the failure of any bar would be determined.
When choosing a supplier for your beverage requirements, several things will have to be considered, but a lot will depend on the location of the bar. Different regions have different rules when it comes to the regulation of alcohol. Familiarize yourself with local laws and by laws as they may vary greatly from one place to another.
Locating a supplier should not be hard as there are many companies in this business. Go through the current alcohol trade publications in your area to get a few suppliers. Alternatively, you could just look up a supply company in the yellow pages. You will probably have to contact several suppliers to get the full range of supplies you will need.
Other than just looking for competitive prices, also look for good service from the company you hire. They have to be able to meet your demands as they come, from orders to sudden emergency requirements and all this at little or no extra cost. Orders should be delivered on time and should be handled with care. Most bars use a lot of glass ware and if not handled with care, a lot of losses could be incurred as breakage.
Do a little scouting and visit the ware houses of these suppliers yourself to see their operations. Whether they are organized and if they handle their orders with care are some of the things you should observe. Make sure you do not pick a firm that messes up orders or delivers sub standard goods. Keep in mind that returning messed up orders is time consuming and expensive.
Look out for hidden costs and charges. Some suppliers charge extra cash or penalize clients for minimum orders. Choose only those suppliers that do not have these extra costs and penalties. Alternatively, you can have different providers according to the type and amount of materials you need. Have one kind of supplier for small orders and another for the large orders. This way, you get the best of both worlds.
You may also decide to work with an online company if those in your area do not offer the kind of materials you need or they are too expensive. Consider the extra shipping costs incurred and also their return policy. Work with a company that allows you to return goods that have already been sold. This is beneficial to customers as they get maximum return in value for what they spend.
With bar supplies, constant invoicing is a must. The bar is constantly running out of stock hence constant orders must be placed, sometimes on a daily basis. With every delivery comes an invoice that is a list of all the ordered items, the charge on each and the total cost of the delivery. Make sure you go through the invoice to make sure you are charged the quoted price.

Republic Chophouse Restaurant Review in Green Bay, WI
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Patricia_Summerfield]Patricia Summerfield
For dinner I stopped in Republic Chophouse which is a fine dining restaurant located in downtown Green Bay. It is an elegant upscale restaurant which is designed in a contemporary style. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The rich colors of chocolate browns and gold fill the place. As you walk in, there is a large bar with cocktail tables and with a few cozy enclosed areas in the lounge area. To the right is the dining area where there are comfortable booths for more of a private atmosphere. For a more open setting there are tables towards the front. They also have towards the back of the bar a glass enclosed private room for larger parties.
As I walked in the host asked me if I would like for him to take my coat and hang it up for me, and then he proceeded to sit me at a booth with a menu and informed me of my server's name for the evening. My server came, introduced himself and brought me a glass of ice water. He asked if I would like a cocktail first before ordering; I ordered a glass of their house cabernet wine. After bringing my wine, which was a 6 ounce pour, he informed me of their specials. After perusing the menu I decided on ordering their 7 ounce flat iron steak for $30.00 which includes your choice of a either a garden salad or a cup of their du jour soup. I chose the salad. My server then brought a plate with three 2 ounce containers of whipped spreads for the bread basket. They were red pepper, cheddar cheese, and butter. The bread basket contained small slices of ciabatta, multigrain and white pretzel bread sticks. The breads were very fresh and tasted delicious with the different creamy spreads. My salad was served to me next and it consisted of mixed dark greens, with a red onion ring, tomatoes and cucumber. The salad was nicely chilled and very fresh. Soon after my entre was served, it was presented on a white rectangular plate with a sprig of fresh rosemary off to the side of my steak. The 7 ounce flat iron steak was carved out of bone and prepared with a rosemary and wild mushroom ragout, finished with white truffle oil drizzle and fresh shaved parmesan cheese on top. It looked very appetizing but I noticed I did not have a steak knife. My server quickly brought me one. The sauce on the steak was the most stand out feature of this dish. The intertwined seasonings gave it an ambrosial flavor. The meat was semi tender of texture.
My server throughout the meal was pleasant and polite but I was surprised and annoyed when I received my bill. My house glass of wine cost $13.00 which is extremely pricey for a house brand even by large metropolitan city standards. I questioned my server on the price of my wine and he informed me that they carry two house wines, one is priced at $9.00 and the other for $13.00, and when someone orders the house wine they automatically get served the much higher priced one. I feel that this type of practice, for any type of establishment, is not forthcoming or in good faith to their patrons. So I am giving you the heads up when ordering your cocktails at Republic Chophouse.

Review of 4 of the Best Restaurants in Vancouver
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=JD_Stratis]JD Stratis
Vancouver is amongst the more unique urban centers located in Canada, and eating out in some of their fine restaurants is no different. In this article we will show you what we believe are some of the best restaurants in Vancouver. Regardless of the type of dining you'll be seeking, you are certain to locate it in this amazing part of the world. Vancouver is really a top notch fine dining choice. It's usually smart to step out of your comfort zone a little because the variety of the best restaurants in Vancouver can take your breath away if you are willing to experiment even just a little.
Vancouver resides in the southwest corner of the country. It is a seaside metropolis within the lower mainland of British Columbia, Canada. While touring this unique urban center there are numerous activities to do, and a lot of people end up deluged with what is available and overlook the greatest dining experiences of Vancouver. This article will outline a few of our favorite best restaurants in Vancouver making your dining enjoyment even more wonderful.
The Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant sometimes referred to as the "Vancouver Rotating Restaurant" located at: 555 West Hastings Street Vancouver, BC V6B4N6
Features: Fine continental cuisine located 553 feet (167m) above the street offering an optimal look at Vancouver, the coast mountain range as well as the Pacific ocean. Glass windows precisely tilted for optimum observation of the city, ocean and mountains. The restaurant completes one revolution every single Hour, so make sure you take you time!
Review: The meal was remarkable! Even though, I'm sure the beverages ended up being somewhat pricey. Other than that, the meals were not overly expensive. I had the steak, and my wife ate the steak. Her steak was tender and succulent, and my chicken breast wasn't dried out, and simply delectable! We tried the lobster tail appys salad as well as the mushroom soup, which were both delightful! I know some reviews complain about the price and the service but we found both excellent. We enjoyed the atmosphere, it turned out warm and soothing, and you cannot put a price-tag on the views! I can certainly declare, no one will be sorry for dining here.
East is East Restaurant Vancouver. located at 3243 W. Broadway Vancouver, BC V6K2H5
Review: East is East Restaurant has a fantastic and cozy ambiance from the moment you first walk in. The environment produced an incredible comfortable atmosphere. From a recommendation we tried the feast menu similar to Tapas which included small samples of just about all the things on the food list for just over 20 bucks, simply an awesome package. For the 2 of us, we had Ten unique plates plus the dinner included as well 2 kinds of brown rice, roti, greens, soup etcetera. The meal was delicious and the various meats had been cooked to perfection. I was stuffed at the end of it, and did not have space for their dessert!
LIFT Bar Grill View 333 Menchions Mews Vancouver, BC V6G 3H5
The Lift Bar Grill in Vancouver is a wonderful dining experience. Fantastic menu selections and their meals are superb. My swordfish was cooked to perfection. My partners feshly shucked oysters were definitely rich in taste plus the seafood/pasta combination was excellent. The service was impeccable and why I rate them as one of the best restaurants in Vancouver. A warm and enticing restaurant for sure.
Cardero's Restaurant Vancouver 1583 Coal Harbour Quay Vancouver, BC V6G3E7
Cardero's has been an institution amongst diners in Vancouver for decades, and constantly tends to make an excellent Vancouver restaurant adventure. With new management, service levels have improved and today complements those of their other eating venue called The Sandbar. Their food selection is straightforward and concentrates on BC-grown food from the ocean. Cardero's patio area is sometimes chaotic on sunny days but still tends to make a pleasurable, dining undertaking. All of their seafood dishes are worthwhile, their Coal harbour location is to die for.

Nicky's Lionhead Pub Bar Review in De Pere, WI
By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Elysia_Diaz]Elysia Diaz
Since this is my second Packer season that I've lived in the fabulous town of Green Bay allow me to tell you what I've learned. Donald Driver is the man, Aaron Rodgers is quickly becoming the man, Brett Favre is way past being the man, and Packer Bars will always rule the land. Is there anything else I left out? No? Good. Moving on. I thought maybe the next couple of my bar hopping shenanigans could revolve around some Packer Bars around town.
Before I got my feet wet, people have always told me which bars are what around GB. Not the case anymore. Or so I thought. Nicky's was the bar of choice for the evening. I quickly told my friend that Nicky's is in De Pere and we wanted things of a Packer nature. The reply I got was that I shouldn't "bar profile," Nicky's was THE Packer bar back in the day, as in the bar that the actual Packer players would frequent. Legend has it that the Packers would hold spring training in the area, and well sometimes the players would get thirsty. How could you not, right? And so, lo and behold there was Nicky's ready with cold, thirst quenching body rejuvenating fermented beverages.
When you walk into this De Pere hotspot, there's a front bar and a back bar. I got confused on which one is what, so I'm going to call it the old bar and new bar. The old bar sounds like it looks. Now I don't mean old as in old and gross, I mean old as in more of the old vintage sense. Old vintage is charming, old gross is not. This part of the place is where all the Packer magic happened. Just look around at all the photos decorating the walls and you'll see. The old side is also not open everyday. It's used for overflow on a heavy Friday/Saturday or parties. As parties seem to spring into action with the Holiday seasons, I would book in advance and set up your Holiday Bash now. The old bar is equipped with a full bar, with beer on draughts, and a few booths, hi top tables, large screen TV's, and a sound system separate from the new bar. Also, there is a juke box and some old school looking gambling games.
Now onto the new bar; I call it the new bar simply because it is. At least it was new in the 90's. Nicky's was bursting at the seams so they added on another bar with a small loft style upstairs and a kitchen to boot. The new bar is gorgeous. When I was there they had spooky spider webs covering the beautiful wooden bar but you could still see that they took their time building this baby. Also, hooray for Halloween decorations! I'm a sucker for any kind of festive adornment. The new bar is huge and plenty of chairs are around it. There are a few booths, hi top tables and regular tables too. For the upstairs there are a few tables as well. The new bar has exposed brick walls and dark wood which make this place seem cozy. I would call this place casual yet fine dining, if that makes any sense. On tap they carry Guinness, Blue Moon, Coors Light, Louies Demise, Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams Seasonal, Smithwicks, Hacker-Pschorr, New Castle, Spotted Cow and their very own Killer Margarita. Nicky's must make a mean margarita recipe for it to be advertised on draught. As for bottles they have the usual Bud, Miller and Coors products. A bottle of my beloved Bud Light runs $3.50. They also have every kind of liquor possible so let your imagination run wild with your drink of choice. Oh, I almost forgot, right now they have home-made apple pie shots. I've been to a frat party or two in my day and I've had these, but Holy Cow, Nicky's makes them with love or something because they are awesome. These little guys are so tasty that my girlfriend likes to slowly sip it for the taste -- not just the thrill you get from a shot buzz. Those bad boys are $3. The night was fun, the crowd was fun, and the drinks were fun. The atmosphere is relaxed with very friendly service and lots of drinks to choose from. Oh, and if you're interested in all that Packer stuff, they got that too.
Born in Podunk, Georgia she was brought up in a small town until she was 7 when her family moved to Tampa, Florida. She lived there until she was accepted into college at UCF in Orlando, Florida. After putting in her four years she set off to Chicago, Illinois where she wanted the big city life. Years later, she thinks the big city life is overrated so she has her eyes set on Green Bay. Chicago's loss, GB's gain. She has worked in the bar/restaurant industry since she was 15 starting as a busgirl, moving onto hostess, then waitress/bartender, and manager. She loves her lite beer and shots of whiskey. But she can also act a little more sophisticated with a glass of wine. END has visited bars all over, from her Florida days to living in Chicago. Also backpacking in Eastern Europe she frequented many taverns and nightclubs in Italy, Prague, Poland, Austria, Croatia, Slovenia, and Germany. Her last adventure included the ocean front bars of Costa Rica.
